WHO IS WRITING THIS STUFF?

Well, you probably want to know a bit about me.

I’ve ridden horses since 1984, dressage since 1991. I’ve been up and down the levels (yes, I’ve actually backtracked) more times than I care to count. I have my USDF Bronze and Silver medals, but it took some work. I’ve ridden arabs (mostly), warmbloods, a thoroughbred….I just like to ride.

I don’t feel like I know ANYTHING about dressage. Just when I think I’m getting it I realize how little I know. So, you can read my entries with a grain of salt. I don’t pretend to know what I’m doing and I never would give advice to people I haven’t seen ride. You’ll mostly find me lurking on the training boards on some of the more popular internet forums. Love to read, for sure, but save my posts for the threads bearing less “responsibility”.

On the main page, you’ll see links to my other websites. Yes, I have others. I am a photographer and flight instructor in addition to riding and I also work full-time, oh yeah – the day job – as a marketing manager. I also have a dog (Corgi), Xena and a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL husband Jim. You’ll find entries pertaining to all of these things from time to time. Even I think a straight training diary can get awful dry and uninteresting. I may think I had the world’s biggest revelation in feeling a half-halt come through in the world – but for you to read it, come on. Yawn.

In any event, enjoy the blog, take a gander at my links, and leave me a comment or two, will ya? I like to get feedback and see who’s out there reading and what they like to see.

Take care!

Sarah
